Book Launch: The Law of the European Union
11 January 2019 at 15:30
T.M.C. Asser Instituut, The Hague
|The Europa Institute of Leiden University, in cooperation with the Asser Institute, ACIL and ACELG, cordially invites you to the book launch of „The Law of the European Union”, a new and comprehensive manual of European law.
The book is a collaboration between forty-eight authors, all of whom are recognized academic specialists in -, or experienced practitioners of European Union Law (and sometimes both). The book’s forty-one chapters make it an easily accessible tool for anyone who wants to be quickly informed about nearly any subject of Union law. Every chapter contains references to other important publications and cases on the subject matter.
According to the publisher, the book ‘belongs on the bookshelves not only of legal libraries, but also of government departments, courts and tribunals (national and international), law firms, embassies and delegations of States –all of whom very regularly deal with challenges of EU law, its institutions and policies’.
The book launch will take place on the 11th of January 2019 at 15:30 at the premises of the T.M.C. Asser Instituut, R.J.Schimmelpennincklaan 20-22, 2517 JN, The Hague.
We invite you to secure your spot by registering for this event, and kindly ask you to share the email with your colleagues and contacts who may also be interested.
