The ELI-UNIDROIT Project ‘From Transnational Principles to European Rules of Civil Procedure’ will be presented at the Conference ‘New Hungarian Civil Procedure Act and the Development of European Rules of Civil Procedure’ in Budapest, on 30 and 31 May. The Conference aims at providing in-depth information about the new Hungarian Civil Procedure Act to the international and national experts in the field and introducing the ELI-UNIDROIT project From Transnational Principles to European Rules of Civil Procedure to Hungarian lawyers.
Diana Wallis, the ELI President, will introduce the concept of the European Model Rules of Civil Procedure, while members of the ELI-UNIDROIT Project Team will discuss the following topics: Service and due notice of proceedings, Obligations of the parties, lawyers and judges, Access to Information and Evidence, Provisional and Protective Measures and Res Judicata and Lis Pendens.
The new Hungarian Civil Procedure Act will be presented and discussed by esteemed Hungarian jurists and experts of the Judiciary.
