Dr Janja HOJNIK is Associate Law Professor; teaching and researching in the field of EU Law since 2003, coaching teams for the EU Law Moot Court Competition since 2005, organisor of the negotiations competition for Slovenian law students. A Member of national and international research projects (e.g. at the ETUI Brussels, Social Development Agency…), speaker at numerous law conferences and seminars in Slovenia and abroad. Holder of a Jean Monnet project of the European Commission. Visiting lecturer at Kingston University (London, UK), Luxembourg University (Lux), Graz University (AUT), University of Ljubljana (SI) etc. She has written widely on various EU internal market issues. Recipient of the Slovenian Law Societies’ Association award for the most out-standing achievement in the field of law among young lawyers in 2010, of the awards for 10 most influential lawyers in Slovenia in 2011, 2012 and 2013 according to an open internet poll performed by IUS Software d.d., as well as of the Centre for International Legal Studies (Salzburg) award for achievements in the field of legal research and writing (2013). She is a member of the Slovenian EU Law Society, fellow of the European Law Institute (Vienna) and an honorary member of the Romanian Association of Law and European Affairs.
